Processing purposes

OR collects and processes customers' personal data for customer and order management purposes (including customer administration, order/delivery tracking, invoicing, solvency tracking, profiling, and sending marketing and personalized advertising).

Legal basis(s) of processing

Personal data is processed on the basis of Article 6.1:

  • necessary for the performance of a contract;
  • necessary to comply with a legal obligation;
  • necessary for the pursuit of our legitimate interest to undertake
    of the General Data Protection Regulation.

 

Processor(s).

OR is free to use data processors for the following purposes: hosting, marketing, service provision. A processor is a natural or legal person who processes personal data at the request of or on behalf of the data controller. The processor is obliged to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data. The processor always acts in accordance with the instructions of the data controller.

On what legal basis are my data processed?

In accordance with the Regulation and the Privacy Act, we process personal data on the basis of the following legal grounds:

  • Based on the performance of the contract as agreed with you, or the exercise of pre-contractual steps taken at your request; or
  • On the basis of complying with legal or regulatory provisions, relating to the management of the contractual relationship;
  • On the basis of your consent to the sending of promotional offers (direct marketing).

What personal data are processed?

OR undertakes to collect and process only the data that are relevant and necessary for the purposes for which they are processed. A non-exhaustive list of personal data that may be processed can be found here:

  • First and/or last name
  • Address details
  • E-mail address
  • Gender

For what purposes are my personal data used?

OR collects personal data to provide each user of the Website with a safe, optimal and personalized user experience.

Data processing is essential for the operation of the platform and related services. The processing is done only for the following specified purposes:

  • Providing the user with access to his user profile;
  • Managing the contractual relationship in which the user is a party;
  • Offering and improving a general and personalized service; including billing purposes, offering information, newsletters and offers useful and/or necessary for the user, obtaining and processing user reviews and providing support;
  • Offering and improving the products provided; personalized and specific products based on information and data provided;
  • The detection of and protection against fraud, error and/or criminal conduct.

Retention period

Personal data processed for customer management purposes will be kept for the period necessary to comply with legal requirements (including for accounting purposes).

Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of personal data

The customer has the right to access his personal data at any time and may correct it (or have it corrected, if it is incorrect or incomplete), have it deleted, restrict its processing, and object to the processing of personal data concerning him on the basis of Article 6.1 (f), including profiling on the basis of those provisions.

In addition, the customer has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, common and machine-readable form) of his personal data and to have the personal data transferred to another company.

In order to exercise the aforementioned rights, the customer is asked to:

  • modify himself the settings of his customer account; and/or

Direct marketing

The customer has the right to oppose, free of charge, any processing of his personal data for the purpose of direct marketing.

Complaint

The Customer has the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission for the Protection of Privacy (rue du Printing 35, 1000 Brussels - commission@privacycommission.be).
