Ordering products

The customer has the possibility to purchase jewellery online.

The purchase is effected once the customer has entered his order by clicking on the 'order button'. Afterwards the customer receives a confirmation e-mail from OR. If you do not receive an email from us, please contact us at lynn@orjewels.com. The items will be delivered to the customer based on the delivery address entered by the customer.

The customer has the choice between following payment platforms:  

• by credit card.
• by bank card.
  
• by Paypal

General Terms and Conditions

OR reserves the right to accept or refuse orders. Upon simple request, the customer will be informed of the reason for refusal.

There is a valid agreement between you and OR when OR receives the confirmation of your order on the website.

However, OR may decide to subject the validity of the agreement to other conditions, such as when the order is incomplete or incorrect, or when previous orders have not been paid.

Offer

All products offered by OR are described in as much detail as possible. The offers and prices are valid on the day when they are offered on our website.

The items on our website are not displayed in actual size and, because each monitor has different settings, the displayed colors of the items may differ from reality. In addition, the colors displayed may also vary between items as they may have been photographed by different photographers or at different times.

Prices and invoice

The prices are those as shown on the website at the time the customer places the order. The prices indicated during the purchasing process are expressed in Euros and include VAT and administrative costs unless explicitly stated otherwise. The prices include shipping costs when the order is delivered in Belgium, and exclude shipping costs when the order is delivered outside Belgium. These costs are charged separately and the customer will pay them on top of the purchase price.

OR cannot be held liable for (printing) errors that occur in the offers. OR has the right to change the indicated price.

The price of our jewellery may change from time to time, just as silver and gold often decrease or increase in value. The price to be paid by the customer is the one at the time the order is placed.


The products remain the property of OR until paid for in full by the customer. This means: full payment of the purchase price and costs.

The customer agrees that OR will transfer the invoicing in electronic form.

Delivery

OR undertakes to have the purchased jewellery from collection delivered to the customer no later than eight to twelve weeks after the confirmation email. All our jewels are custom made, therefore this period is necessary to finalize an order.

If the customer does not receive the package on the date communicated to them or does not pick it up at a collection point, the order will automatically be returned to OR. We will then contact the customer to arrange a new delivery of the order. In this case, additional delivery costs may be required from the customer.

Shipping costs

Details as mentioned in the dedicated shipping section.

In case of return (the complete or partial return of the order) the shipping costs are at the expense of the customer. The customer is responsible for the costs of returning the article.

Liability

Unfortunately, OR is not liable for the consequences of incorrect data entry by the customer. As a customer, you are responsible for all shipments from OR that arrive at your specified delivery address. In order to avoid miscommunication, we recommend that you contact us immediately at lynn@orjewels.com to inform us of the change in the delivery address.

Complaints concerning the non-conformity or visible defects of the order or complaints about the execution must be notified to us in writing within three days after receipt of the order. The jewellery must be returned unworn to OR. If these conditions are not respected, the complaint will be considered inadmissible.

OR cannot be held liable for complaints resulting from out-of-stock or late delivery of the product due to force majeure. If we are prevented from fulfilling our commitments due to circumstances beyond our control (such as theft, faulty communication from the customer, or unforeseen breakage of stones in the event of non-error), we will be released from our obligations and will not be held responsible after notifying the customer in writing of the force majeure.

Right of Withdrawal

Each OR piece is unique and is customized in terms of color and size as requested by the customer. Custom-made jewellery cannot be exchanged. Therefore, there is no right of withdrawal on custom-made jewellery.
By paying a deposit, you agree to the order for the customization. Afterwards, these placed orders for customization cannot be cancelled.

Trust

When the cooperation, regardless of the term, is no longer experienced as productive, or the trust was unilaterally violated, OR reserves the right to unilaterally terminate the cooperation without prior written notice. The termination of the cooperation will be communicated through our website or email.

Warranty

For each OR piece you get a legal guarantee of 2 years.
This is valid for production errors and not for wear and tear. We always put the guarantee certificate at the bottom of the jewel box.
